You know what I don't understand?
Why people freak out when their favorite "small" band goes on MTV or whatever.
If you're such a great fan, shouldn't you want success for them?
And then they get mad when MTV gets their information wrong...
that simply means you will ultimately be a better fan than someone who heard them on MTV and suddenly loves them.
Seriously, where bands such as The Academy Is... and All Time Low are at is NOTHING compared to where my favorite band stands success and popularity-wise.
Green Day is a HUGE band that did get big due to, in part, MTV. Mention their name, and nine times out of ten, someone will at least have heard of them. Mention All Time Low, and more than half of the people are like "HUH?".
The other thing that proves ATL isn't huge yet is the fact that most people don't feel the need to express their extreme hatred for them because they "sold out" to their fans, like people do with Green Day.
I don't know, this is scattered but people piss me off.

Hollywood hills and suburban thrills
Woohoo, last night was amazing.
We got there and saw Lauren and Jess right away, so we stood with them.
Got in line and waited for a little bit (a long bit), and apparently I was on the M&G list with sixty spots reserved in my name? That's cool, I guess. I think someone made a type-o, and I made sure that we allll got to the boys.
We go in there, and dude, it was dark as shit.
Zack came out first, and about ten people walked over to him.
Rian came out right after, so Charlene and I walked over to him.
We got our pictures with him, and he was too nice. He thanked us and I was like "Dude, we should thank you."
Then we go over to Zack and get our pictures with him.
Go to Jack, and have to wait a good ten minutes.
Charlene got her picture first, and when I go to get my picture, Jack puts the side of his jacket open, so I slide my arms in and I'm like, hugging him? And you know, because the universe loves me, my camera isn't working. I took it from Charlene and I was like "WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU DO TO MY CAMERA?" and she goes "Violent language, man."
And Jack is like "Um."
So we go for a second time, same pose, and it takes a little while to work, and then it does.
After, we go to save spots on the barricade for Lauren and Jess.
Then they come over, so we go and get pictures with Gaskarth, who just kept staring at us while we were standing there.
Woohoo, so we got barricade on Zack's side, which is also MATTTTT'S side.
Runner Runner was first, they weren't toooo bad.
Then Mercy Mercedes came out, they were amazing.
They did a cover of Dumpweed and Andrew Goldstein came out.
I was FREAKING when I heard the intro part, lmfao. And Andrew was standing on the side of the stage on our side, and he started laughing at me.
The bassist from Mercy Mercedes came over to our side and put the neck of his bass in my face, it was soooooooo awkward lmfao.
Then The Friday Night Boys were up. Amazing <3
Sing It Loud was absolutely phenomenal, and Alex came out for his part during "No One Can Touch Us".
Um, I took 3948934934 pictures of Matt where I was creeeepin'.
All Time Low came out. Great, as always.
The girl next to me wrote her number, AIM, and "FLASH ME!" on a dollar, and gave it to Flyzik to give to Alex.
And of course, right after she gives it to him, Alex is like "Matt, how are you?"
And Matt goes "This girl gave me her dollar, and she wants you to flash her."
I was DYING.
Then Jack came to our side, and goes between the barricade and the stage, and I was allll touching him lmfao.
During Hustler, Matt came right in front of me to sing, I DIED.
Um, that's all I can remember.
:D

We're still waiting for the fire
Jesus Christ, I can't believe that it's December 26th.
Tomorrow, I will be meeting and seeing All Time Low.
Words cannot explain how pumped I am.
2008 is coming to a close in a few short days.
It has been an overall good year, although I have reached my lowest points to-date.
I rang in the new year with my family at Kate's annual party.
The first event that sticks out in my mind was attending my first Flyers game in March, against the Thrashers. They won.
The next was seeing All Time Low for the first time, on April 10. I was not that big of a fan, but I definitely was digging the show.
Next is the Backyard BBQ, All Time Low round 2.
That was a very interesting day, jeeeze.
My freshman year came to a close, with me having a 3.88 GPA. Not bad, I think.
July was my first Warped Tour. Amazing day, really.
September brought a new school year, and a new crush. The school year is terrible, and the crush is still a crush.
October meant I was finally fifteen, and I met Caleb Turman at an amazing concert dubbed "Sassyback."
October also meant dreams being fulfilled for the whole sports nation known as the Philly sports fans.
October 29, 2008 - the day I will remember forever. The Philadelphia Phillies, my favorite sports team ever, won the World Series, behind Cole Hamels, Brad Lidge, Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, Jimmy Rollins, and Pat Burrell. However, those are just the big names. This team was defined by the bit players that showed up at the times they were most needed. Names like Greg Dobbs, Eric Bruntlett, Chris Coste, and Joe Blanton will forever be remembered by Phillies Phans of various generations.
November was a month of heroes and music. November 13th meant The Academy Is... and We the Kings, with Deena. November 17th, I met Jamie Tworkowski. Man, that man has a way with words.
November 18th - Jack's Mannequin concert with my brother. Andrew is amazing, beyond words. He's my hero, for sure.
November 29th was the last day of the Comprimising Of Tour with Charlene. That, too, was amazing.
December has been uneventful, minus me having more of a social life than ever. I only really have two people I hang out with, but still.
All in all, I am very grateful for this year and I'm sad to see it end.

The world is spinning round, and around out of control again
"So send my love a letterbomb,
And visit me in hell."
I love Billie Joe Armstrong.
I love Green Day.
I love music.
I love lyrics.
I love everything that embodies Green Day.
They are the reason I am alive right now.
Andrew keeps me going, but if it wasn't for Green Day, there would be nothing to keep going.
Billie's lyrics might not have saved me, but my love for them gave me something to live for.
It gave me a best friend.
It gave me a rescue.
It gave me solace.
It gave me a place to turn to for everything.
It showed me that maybe, sometimes, it's okay to be messed up and misunderstood.
It's okay to have an opinion, and to voice it.
That's all.
And visit me in hell."

Make it a sweet, sweet goodbye
Last night was AMAZING.
All right, we left my house around 4:45, got down there at like 5:20?
And we were in line in front of these girls that looked like they were ten, no lie.
They were wearing flip-flops...to a concert?
We started talking to the girl in front of us, she was cool.
Her dad was funny!
Um, okay, we go in there and go in the crowd, on Kenny/Brooks/Jack's side.
So I turn around and I see Lauren but I was kinda like, awkward about saying something.
So I just kept turning around, hoping we'd make eye contact? Cause I'm a creep.
Then her friend yelled my name and I was like "HEYYYY!" and then she moved up with her two friends.
We kind of stood in a group and waited for the Friday Night Boys.
They played Chasing A Rockstar, Sorry I Stole Yo Gurl, That's What She Said, and High School. I think that's it.
Andrew looked FINEEEE. He didn't do his eye makeup all creepy, so that was nice.
Then Every Avenue came on.
I can't remember every song they played, but I know they did A Story To Tell Your Friends, Trading Heartbeats, Where Were You, Think Of You Later, Freak Out, and I can't remember what else.
During their set, Kenny runs by in his boxer briefs, for end of tour pranks, you know?
And then, they bring out a couch and Kenny and Pat and maybe Brooks? I'm not too sure, they sat on it in their undies. David was like "You guys don't have penises. If you look at my crotch closely, like realllly close, you can see mine. It's tiny!"
And then yeah.
The Maine came on, and Zack walked out and acted all odd and Zack-like. He took John's microphone and called us all sexy.
They played Girls Do What They Want, Everything I Ask For, I Wanna Love You [hey, John was SEXY during this], We All Roll Along, I Must Be Dreaming, and The Way We Talk.
Then it was time for Mayday! We got REALLY close, like three rows back and the security guard was giving out water, so we got some. We were right in front of Brooks, which was amazing.
They did Three Cheers For Five Years, Black Cat, Ocean And Atlantic, I'd Hate To Be You When People Find Out What This Song Is About, Miserable At Best, When I Get Home, You're So Dead, and Jersey.
During Miserable At Best, Derek was set up right near us, and I was like, looking sad and singing along and he kept looking at me? It was kind of odd, and then after that he kept coming over right in front of us and we made eye contact quite a few times. They were really really really amazing live, and I really want to see them again.
Thennnn before ATL, we almost fought some bitches, yanno? Cause this cunt was trying to push her way to the front and I was just like "Oh, helll no!"
And yeah, Matt looked so cute :D Only because we couldn't see his hair, he had a beenie on.
Then they came out. And at first it was just Ri-Daw, and then the rest of them came out.
Jack looked too cute :D And Zack was wearing a SHIRT, oh my God.
So they played Poppin' Champagne, Shameless, Jasey Rae, Coffee Shop Soundtrack, Holly (Would You Turn Me On?), The Party Scene, Six Feet Under The Stars, The Beach, Stay Awake, The Girl's A Straight-Up Hustler, Lullabies, the new song, Remembering Sunday, and Dear Maria, Count Me In.
Before Hustler, Evan kept fucking with them. Because Alex said something about it being an EPIC tour and they struck a pose, and then they wanted him to play music but it stayed silent? So they were like "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT, EVAN?" and then he played some random pop music and they started dancing, it was beautiful. Um, and before one of the songs, it might have been before Hustler, they were talking about sexual Jenga. And then Alejandro was like "Yeah, it'll be like, an impossible thing to do. Like, cum on Renee's tits. But the thing is, no one knows Renee. Is anyone here named Renee?" And a guy raised his hand and Jack was like "Security, cut his head off!" and then a girl raised her hand and Alex was like "What are you doing later? You wanna hang out, play some Jenga?"
It was great :D
During Remembering Sunday, all the other bands came out with like, flags and trees? It was so weird. Alex couldn't stop laughing, because before that, there were guys running around on stage with their pink tighty-whities on.
All in all, an amazing night :D

When the plane came in, she said it was crashing
So, I know I'm only a sophomore.
And I don't have to worry about SATs until next May, but to increase my vocabulary, I'm going so start doing a "word of the day", that I found on a website, and using it in a sentence.
After Thanksgiving dinner, we all understood why Mark was so bumptious. His younger brother was an even bigger prick than he!
Fun with words :D
I hate Thanksgiving, the whole concept of it.
It is such a fake holiday, because we all stand around and act like we want to see these family members, or say that we're thankful for things that we really take for granted. I don't want to interract with people I hate, so why should I? I mean, I guess that means I'm thankful I don't have to see them on a regular basis, but whatever. The fakeness of Thanksgiving is so different from the fakeness of Christmas. For the few weeks before Christmas, the Christmas spirit takes over everyone. Perhaps it's the cold weather, or the beautifulness of snow on the ground, but the crime rate goes down, and kindness goes up. However, for Thanksgiving, it is only one day and it's people FAKING happiness. I don't know, it's just such an annoying holiday. The only good thing about it is the football.
Which, speaking of, Central sucks. Terribly. They played yesterday, as is the tradition, against Northeast. They lost 38-0, and the only good part was the fight. That's right, a Central player shoved a Northeast player, and then a bench-clearing brawl erupted. That was actually amazing. I was walking back from the bathroom with Mariya, and then all of a sudden, everyone on the Central side started cheering. Then, I stood on my tip-toes, because I thought we were playing well or something, and BAM, there's kids rolling around on the grass. They had the cops come to break it up, and everything. They actually debated ending the game early, so that more tensions wouldn't arise. However, they let them finish out the game, with Northeast playing their 2nd string players.

bumptious
(adjective) [BUMP-shahs]1. offensively self-assertive; pushy; self-important: "The bumptious and slightly drunk employee planted herself square in the middle of the holiday party exit, ostensibly to discuss her promotion."
adverb form: bumptiously
noun form: bumptiousness

Take this all the way, anyway you want to.
Why do people care so much about whether or not a band is nice?
Why does that matter?
I mean, they sit there and criticize the bands who aren't sitting there hanging out with their fans, but I praise those bands. It shows that they don't need to be accepted by their fans, and loved as individuals. There's a difference between loving and respecting the fans for supporting you, and becoming their bffs. Why does it matter to a band member if he has a bad interaction with a fan? I mean, doesn't it matter more if they have a bad interaction with the people they see every day? I would care more about my best friend's opinion of me than a total stranger I have met once.
When you get disappointed because a band was "rude" or "mean", it's pretty much your own fault. By expecting someone to be nice, you are setting yourself up to be let down. I know that's a pessimistic way to look at the world, but it's the truth. Unfortunately, with the way the world is today, you can't go into the real world and expect people to be nice to you. Notice how someone saying "Hi" and smiling at someone you don't know is considered an act of kindness, while ignoring a total stranger is a social norm. It is not possible to be nice to every single human being you run into, and the more you interact with, the more you are "rude" to.
And also, the girl's who claim a band member was mean don't even know what "mean" is. They get mad because someone didn't smile fully in their picture with them. I mean, I don't like taking a million pictures with people I know, and most people don't. What makes you think they should have to force a smile for a picture with a person that means little to nothing to them? You have no idea what their day was like, how can you judge them on one meeting? For all you know, someone close to them could have died. However, the show must go on. They can't just hide inside, because a lot of people prefer to repress their feelings on a situation for at least a day, and go through their normal routines and then just break down. I don't know, that's just how I feel.
I can not STAND when people stop listening to a band because they did not like their personalities. Why should the way they act towards you affect what pleases your ears? Obviously, you were a fan for the wrong reasons if that makes you stop listening to them.
OH AND THIS PISSES ME OFF THE MOST: Needing to meet the band at EVERY SINGLE CONCERT. I hate hate hate when I see girls post bulletins saying "Well, I guess it was a good show, but since I didn't meet so and so, the night sucked." SHUT THE FUCK UP, AND BE GLAD YOU WERE ABLE TO GO. To me, the live show matters more than the actual bands. I would so much rather see a great live performance and not meet everybody, than meet all of the band members and then find they suck live. It's a waste of money.
Dunno, just had to get that off my chest.
Why does that matter?

Last night
My team...
WON IT ALL.
That's right.
On October 29, 2008, the Philadelphia Phillies won the World Series.
A recap of the series:
Game One - Chase Utley got the game started right with a 2-run homer in the first game of the series, and they didn't look back at all. Seven strong innings were turned in by ace, Cole Hamels, and the Phillies got the win.
Game Two - Although Brett Myers pitched very well, the Rays capitalized when they had runners on and won 4-2. Eric Bruntlett homered.
Game Three - Jamie Moyer is not forty-six, I swear. He pitched spectacularly, and was backed by two home runs from the big men that needed to get going - Utley and Howard. Carlos Ruiz also had a solo shot during the game.
Game Four - Joe Blanton hit a home run. Jayson Werth hit a home run. Ryan Howard hit two. The Phillies won 10-2.
Game Five - We had to battle the elements. Cole Hamels pitched six spectacular innings, giving up only two runs before the game was delayed with the scored all tied up at 2-2. The game didn't resume till Wednesday. To start that off, Geoff Jenkins pinch hit, and got a double. Jimmy then bunted him over and Jayson got a single. Hollller. Then Maddy gave up a homer to Rocco Baldelli, therefore taking away the chance at a win for Cole.
Pat led off the 7th with a double, and Pedro scored Brunt, the pinch runner.
Top of the ninth, and we all know what that means - LIGHTS OUT LIDGE TIME :D. Lidge struck out the first batter, gave up a hit, got a line out, then struck out Eric Hinske to end the game. Most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
Parade tomorrow, you know. Going to be fun and crazy :D

Oh God.
I fail at life.
I said I was going to update this everyday, but I haven't.
LET'S DO THIS.
(If you've ever listened to the Academy Is..., and watched TAITV, picture the Butcher saying that in "Fury In Philly".)
The Phillies are going to the World Series.
The night seemed perfect for a clinch - two young pitchers on the mound, one already a winner of two games in the postseason. The other, the future ace of the Dodgers.
Jimmy Rollins started the game off by homering to right, same as he did for the NLDS clinching game against the Brewers. It was practically an identical at-bat, as well. Rollins was down in the count 0-2, but he fought back to make it 3-2. With a full count, Rollins swung, and the ball was out. Hamels worked out of a few jams, with much thanks going to Blake Dewitt, who seemed to come up every time the Dodgers had a scoring opportunity. His inning-ending double play was huge in the bottom of the second, as Cole Hamels seemed to lock down after that. The same could not be said of Chad Billingsley, starter for the Dodgers. In the third, he faced Rollins and Chase Utley, and gave them both free passes. After back-to-back RBI singles by Ryan Howard and Pat Burrell, Billingsley intentionally walked the dangerous Shane Victorino, and was subsequently pulled by Joe Torre.

I'm bringing Sassyback
Last night was the Sassyback Tour (and my fifteenth birthday!)
My mom drove Charlene and me down to the Troc at like 4:30.
And we stood around, and around 5ish, Caleb was walking around.
He got mobbed, no lie.
So, me and Charlene waited for a little bit, then went over to him.
And right before I get my picture with him, Charlene yells "IT'S HER BIRTHDAY!"
And we were already posing for the picture, so he like, turns me toward him, and looks down at me and goes "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!". I cheesed so bad, I looked Asian. But our picture is cute :D
Then we waited for a few more people to get their pictures with him, and Charlene goes and poses with him.
I was shaking, so bad. It's horrible.
And right before he gets his picture with Charlene, some girl gives him a present, and it's nerds rope.
So, he yells at me "HOLD ON. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT!" I was laughing. He like, held his hand out and everything.
So blah, blah. We're in line, we see JCook, but we couldn't get a picture with him.
Um, so we get in there. And we get in the crowd for Sing It Loud.
Caleb and KDirty were on the side for them, and I made mad eye contact with the both of them.
Sing It Loud was fucking AMAZING, no lie.
Then, the crowd got insanee in between Sing It Loud and Hit the Lights.
After like, a song and a half of Hit the Lights, Charlene couldn't breathe, so I freaked out at the crowd and their moms to let her out.
We chilled on the side for the rest of Hit the Lights and all of FTSK.
OMFG. FOREVER THE SICKEST KIDS.
They played Becky Starz and Men In Black, omg.
it was amazing.
No lie.
Then Cobra came on, and we went in the crowd and I almost punched 3948934 people.
But I refrained.
I put up a heart and Alex put one up back :D
Gabe and Ryland were hilarious, and Vicky is BEAUTIFUL.
all in all, good night :D

Do you feel, the weight of the world singing sorrow?
I'm dreading tomorrow, but I'm trying not to focus on it.
Today was a relatively good day.
The Eagles DESTROYED the Rams, 38-3.
The Phillies won the first game of a doubleheader with the Mets, 6-2.
Uncle John's memorial service is tomorrow.
It's a really stressful time right now, trying to get everything together for that, all the plans set and still concentrating on school.
My dad wrote a speech thing for the service, it is so amazing, no lie.
It talked about how Uncle John, to some, had so little, but to those who knew him, he had so much.
He loved everyone he knew and we all loved him.
He had fun in any situation.
He taught us all to not take ourselves so seriously.
He might not have had the trappings of a successful life, in the material sense, but he had it better off than any rich person.
He's missed greatly <3

I'm sick and tired of writing songs about you
I'm walking a thin, thin line these days.
Teetering on the edge of completely fucked up and a little bit insane.
No one understands, either.
I feel like, at this point, I'm just going through the motions and that will increase once I go back to school.
I can't afford this.
I'm not getting attached to anything, either.
I think it's all ripped away too quickly.
Fuck. I don't know what's wrong with me.
I'm honestly scared, that when I turn seventeen or so, it will be discovered I'm like my brother.
What would become of me then?
My hopes, my dreams, my ideals?
It would all go down the drain.
God.
Andrew turned 26 today.
He's my hero.
I cried while watching his Hurley Studio videos, btw.
"Swim" is so beautiful.
His voice is beautiful.
I can't wait till the Glass Passenger, for real.

But I'm not impressed, and I'm definitely not excited
God, I'm fucking done.
My emotional state of being has been thrown around so carelessly lately.
I go from one end of the spectrum to the other.
But, then again, I realized today that I don't have as many mood fluctuations as people think.
It seems I do, because on the surface, I go from being happy to upset in an instant.
And I overreact, in some people's minds, a LOT.
But what really is occurring isn't a mood swing at all -
it's the emotion that is under my thin surface coming to the top, when a little thing infuriates me.
I am constantly putting up a front, pretending to be happy - but I'm not.
Rarely am I truly happy, anymore.
So really - it's not a mood swing.
It's a breaking of my barrier that I put up between myself and the rest of the world.
The Phillies and their pathetic play of late aren't helping.
Maybe all that will change come Flyers season, but I can't predict how that season will go.
I can't hope that it will go better than last, that's asking a lot of the team.
I just hope they play with as much heart as last year, and they continue to play Flyers hockey.
Whatever.
xoxo,
megan.

Waving your banner all over the place...
Me, mom, and grandma Pet went shopping at the Reading outlets yesterday.
I got two new bras, four pairs of underwear, a shirt, two books, a bookbag, and there are some other things I can't remember.
Mom bought me a Notre Dame sweatshirt for my birthday :)
Then we went out to dinner with Aunt Chich, that was nice.
MICHAEL PHELPS IS ON SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE, SEPTEMBER 13TH <3 AND I'M GOING TO BE IN NEW YORK THAT DAY, OMFG. OMG, I JUST REALIZED THAT. WOW. i should so stalk that station, lmfao.
I sometimes wish I'd never been born at all... Bohemian Rhapsody is one of the greatest songs ever written.
I'm getting my hair cut today.
School is too soon. Sorry I have nothing to say. Not like anyone reads this anyway..

It's like holding back the wind
So I decided I wanted to write more things I've realized about myself:
I say sorry a LOT, but I do mean it, most of the time.
I have a good memory, but I remember the most pointless things.
Like, I remember things people say really well.
I can't convey what I mean to people clearly. If I'm trying to explain something, I'm not good at making people understand.
I get really pissed off at the tiniest things, but passively mad at things I should have my blood boiling over.
I thank Billie Joe Armstrong for the life I'm living today.
I have a select group that I can tell everything to, and I thank God every day for them.
A lot of the time, I get really upset and want to cry but I can't.
I hate my braces.
Actually, I hate the way I look a lot of the times.
No, that's not me trying to get compliments.
That's me telling you I dislike myself.
I hurt myself the other day, because I was pissed off at everyone and everything.
Nothing major, I just dug my nails into the back of my thighs.
I have a dark mind, darker than you can imagine.
I've contemplated seriously committing suicide.
Green Day kept me going.
I hate when people say anything is possible, because it's NOT.
I like optimism, but please.
I love being really tired and just crashing.
Or really dirty and taking a shower, it feels so nice :)
I hate imposing people.
I don't like being too organized, it makes me really stressed.
I'm allergic to McDonald's.
Pizza is my favorite food.
I like making odd faces in the mirror.
I prefer comfort to style, but I do like to get dressy sometimes :)
If I don't know you, I probably assume I'll hate you, because I hate people pretty much.
Songs rarely make me cry, no matter how sad and how personal I hold them.
I hate losing. At anything.
Mr. Slawter = hero <3
Alex Gaskarth writes amazing blogs.
I love Grady Sizemore and Joe Mauer.
Oh and Jon Lester and Jonathan Papelbon.
You don't understand passion until you've talked to a Philly sports fan - we've gone 100 seasons without a major sports championship, yet we still support and love those teams like no other.
the Phillie Phanatic is the best mascot in sports, don't argue.
I peak at Christmas gifts.
I can't keep my mouth shut.
But I can keep a secret.
I like to read.
Writing is my release.
I try hard to choose words that won't piss people off, but I always say things wrong.
I fumble over words when I speak in front of a class.
I hate obnoxious people that feel you need to know all of their business. Nah, sorry.
Me and my mom bond while driving down the highway singing along to Billy Joel.
I respect all legit musicians. Not Britney Spears, I said LEGIT.
I don't listen.
I tell people to fuck off and insult people a lot, but I don't mean it really.
I believe in heaven.
I believe in love.
I believe in karma.
I believe in hope.
I believe in faith.
I believe in belief.
I believe in myself, sometimes.
But above all, I believe in God.

So, I haven't posted on here in a while, but I was on vacation, so I have an excuse, right?
Right.
Last night, I went to the Phillies game for mom-mom's birthday.
Here's who came:
Me, Dan, Joe, Dad, Kate, Aunt Mary, Sam, Shannon, Jessie, Justin (Jess's BF), Aunt Claire, Zack, Nicky(DEVIL!), Mom-Mom, Uncle Tim, Aunt Shelia, Caitlin, her boyfriend (can't remember his name), Uncle Bill, Jonathan, Megan, her boyfriend (didn't talk to them, therefore I have no name to remember), and I believe that's all.
The game was amazing! The Dodgers scored in the first, but it could've been worse.
I forget WHEN the Phillies tied it at one, but they did.
And then Ryan Madson came in and gave up a run, so I said I was canceling the engagement.
But then, in the bottom of the ninth, Shane got on.
They brought in some random player who's name I can't even remember, that drew a walk off of FREAKING JONATHAN BROXTON, who throws MAD high heat. Then they had Kyle Kendrick pinch run! Hahaha, we were out of bench players, lmfao. Then Jayson struck out. Then Carlos got on, I think. And Pedro comes up and he GETS A HIT. And then Jimmy came up and we all started chanting "FRONTRUNNER! FRONTRUNNER!" And he got out to end the inning. Stupid guy went 0-4 and he expects not to be booed? Sure, uh huh.
Blah blah, 10th inning, nothing happens except Chad Durbin got himself outta some major shit.
Then the bottom of the 11th rolls around, and we were about to leave, but we stayed to watch the boys bat one last time :) So, I forget what happens, but Shane and someone else got on base. And they brought Cole in to pinch hit lmfao. He popped out though. And then, hero Pedro comes up AND HITS A THREE-RUN BLAST TO CENTER. I was going crazy. Best game in a while, and what made the victory even better was that the Mets lost so we're now a half game back, suckaasss. This two-game series with them starting tomorrow is insanely meaningful, but not as much as the one in New York is.
Whatever.
So I wanna talk about me, for some reason, so I'm gonna.
Whuddup blogspot, Megan here. My dumbass brother named me, he was five-years-old. Gay.
Music and sports are my passion, my purpose, my everything.
My favorite band ever is Green Day, but I have a few current favorites: Forever the Sickest Kids, All Time Low, the Maine, Something Corporate, Jack's Mannequin, Cobra Starship, and The Academy Is...STUPID.
Sorry, had to quote TAI TV Episode 9.
I love and support all the Philly teams and Notre Dame with an intensity that isn't matched in any other city. You wouldn't understand our passion if you aren't from here, so don't try to. We love those teams, those boys, with all that we have in us. The best feeling is seeing a win in person, and the worst is seeing a loss. I love going home after a win, because I feel all light and happy and I can't stop smiling, especially after last night's win.
Jack Barakat, Matt Flyzik, Kyle Burns, Kennedy Brock, Andrew McMahon, Nate Novarro, Adam T. Siska, Cole Hamels, Joffrey Lupul, Brian Westbrook, Kevin Curtis, Jason Smith, and Jimmy Clausen are my favorites :)
Brayden Tyler Quinn is my favorite athlete, always and forever <3 I've loved him for a long ass time, so all you girls that are gonna fawn over him when he becomes an NFL starter can hop off his dick now, kthx.
Michael Phelps makes me smile and he has since 2004 :)
I hate the Mets and their fans with everything I have in me, minus David Wright and Jill Winter. They're good in my book :)
My least favorite athletes are Manny Ramirez, Jose Reyes, T.O., Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Scott Avery.
My least favorite teams are the Mets, the Yankees, the Cowboys, the Penguins, the Rangers, the Devils, and the Islanders.
I also support the Twins, the Red Sox, and the Saints.
My favorites from there are Joe Mauer, Justin Morneau, Jon Lester, Jonathan Papelbon, Dustin Pedroia, Mike Lowell, Justin Masterson, and Drew Brees.
That's it. That's me. I don't care what you think of me.
